Areas of Specialization

Individual THERAPY

Individual therapy is a collaborative process that aims to facilitate change and improve quality of life. Therapy can help people confront barriers that interfere with emotional and mental health well-being. It can also improve one’s self-esteem, increase effectiveness in relationships and increase one’s sense of peace.

couples THERApy

Couples therapy is a form of therapy that supports people in intimate relationships. Therapy may be helpful for partners considering separation or seeking improved intimacy and understanding. While the relationship itself is the focus in couples therapy, each partner is expected to pay attention to self-improvement and self-awareness. Improving communication is also key.

child THERAPY

Child therapy is an area of psychology focused on working with children who have a mental illness, have difficulty coping, have experienced a traumatic event, or are facing a difficult family situation. Child therapy focuses on emotional and behavioral issues, as well as supporting parents to meet the developmental needs of their children. Understanding structure, effective/appropriate limit setting and boundaries are often discussed.

Healing isn’t about changing who you are; it’s about changing your relationship to who you are.
A fundamental part of that is honoring how you feel.
