I specialize in working with children addressing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental issues; with people dealing with anger management issues who are court involved and victims of domestic violence; and with families, pre and post-divorce.

I also have a great deal of experience in working with people affected by anxiety, depression/bi-polar disorder, relationship, intimacy, career issues, issues involving gender/sexual identity (transgender, genderqueer, non-binary, gender diverse, gay, lesbian, bi-sexual) and people experiencing psychotic symptoms and paranoia.  

Working with people who have experienced trauma is another area I have years of experience with. In this work, my goal is to create a supportive space where the trauma and its impact can be explored. Focusing on developing effective coping skills and improving self-care can help people overcome the fears, destructive behaviors and negative internal messages that prevent them from achieving their full potential. With clients who have been hurt as children, my goal is to help people learn to heal the wounded child. Those with a history of trauma have more difficulty feeling safe in the world and have difficulty in achieving rewarding intimate relationships and personal and professional success.
